Notice is hereby given that Fairview Town Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 14, at 7:00 p.m. The public hearing will be held at Fairview Senior Center; 217 W 5th St. Fairview, Montana 59221. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the adoption of a resolution to adopt the Richland County – Sidney – Fairview Growth Policy. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide public comment. Written comments may also be submitted prior to the public hearing.

Town of Fairview Environmental Review
Public Comment and Review of Environmental Review for the Town of Fairview Wastewater System Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) The Town of Fairview will hold a public hearing on January 15th, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Fairview Senior Center located at 217 5th Street, Fairview, MT 59221 for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the following: • The environmental review record for the Fairview Wastewater PER. At the public hearing, the environmental review record will be discussed, and a decision will be made on the environmental review record. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the environmental review record. Comments may be given orally at the meeting or submitted in writing to the Fairview office, or emailed to townoffairview@midrivers.com by January 20th, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Anyone wanting to review the environmental review record or submit questions and comments should contact Faye Carlson, Town Clerk at 318 South Central Avenue, Fairview, Montana 59221. The environmental review record will be available at City Hall. Copies of the environmental review record will also be available at the public meeting. Town of Fairview Engineering Report
Public Comment and Review of the Town of Fairview Wastewater System Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) The Town of Fairview will hold a public hearing on January 15th, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Fairview Senior Center located at 217 5th Street, Fairview, MT 59221 for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the following: •Findings of the Town’s Wastewater PER including scope of the project and potential cost and influence on user rates; •The possible funding sources for design and construction of the recommended improvements; and •The possible submission of grant applications to the Montana Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), the Department of Natural Resource Conservation (DNRC) Renewable Resource Grant Loan (RRGL), and the Montana Coal Endowment Program (MCEP) grant. At the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding and any costs impacting local citizens as a result of the project. All interested people will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed project. Comments may be given orally at the meeting or submitted in writing to the Fairview office, or emailed to townoffairview@midrivers.com by January 20th, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
